Responsibilities of the Nature Preserve

The Zittau Mountains’ Nature Preserve focuses on caring for and creating a ‘landscape with exemplary function’ in connection with the promotion of a landscape-related and sustainable tourist industry with an environmentally friendly use of natural resources. The Nature Preserve considers itself as a bridge, facilitating communication and cooperation between residents and tourists, businesses, as well as farmers and foresters. The realisation of these objectives is connected with the development and effect of a partnership network.
